The Architecture Foundation of Oregon (AFO) is a non-profit organization that “advocates for the enhancement of our built environment, the livability of our communities, and preservation of our rich architectural heritage.”

Linda Czopek has been an AFO Board member since 2006, and has served as Co-Chair of their Honored Citizen event in years honoring John Gray, Dave Frohnmayer and Cycle Oregon.

Third Angle Ensemble presents world-class performances of new chamber music which challenge and entertain audiences, artists and composers.  Third Angle is devoted to creating and presenting musical events, works and collaborations that reflect the highest artistic expressions of our time, to instigating a creative dialogue through the works and artists presented, and to reinforcing the necessity for the voice of the living composer in our cultural heritage.

Museum of Contemporary Craft Founded in 1937, Museum of Contemporary Craft (MoCC) in partnership with Pacific Northwest College of Art is a vibrant center for investigation and dialogue that helps expand the definition and exploration of craft. Through dynamic exhibitions and provocative public programming, supported by the Museum’s collection and archives, the Museum advances the conversation on the role of craft and design in contemporary culture while at the same time honoring the history of the studio craft movement.

Georgia Erdenberger has been a Board member at MoCC since 2006.

International Interior Design Association (IIDA) strives to create a strong niche for the most talented and visionary Interior Design professionals, to elevate the profession to the level it warrants, and to lead the way for the next generation of Interior Design innovators. The Association provides a forum to demonstrate design professionals’ impact on the health, safety, well being and virtual soul of the public, balancing passion for good design and strategy for best business practices. IIDA stands at the intersection of passion and strategy where designers create extraordinary interiors and experiences.

Center for Health Design was formed in 1993 by a small group of healthcare and design professionals committed to advancing a singular idea – that design could be used to improve patient outcomes in healthcare environments.  The Center is now a far-reaching, international community leading the effort to improve the quality of healthcare facilities worldwide, as well as environments for healthy aging.  Forward-thinking members, partners and volunteers come from many fields including healthcare, elder care, architecture, interior design, construction, product design, product manufacturing, education and NGOs.  This website and organization has been a very important reference for our health care work for more than a decade.

EDAC™ — the Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification program, from The Center for Health Design — educates and assesses individuals on their understanding of how to base design decisions on available, credible evidence. The goal of the program is not to test people on their knowledge of current available evidence, but rather to test them on the proper process to follow in order to identify, hypothesize, implement, gather, and report the data associated with their project.
