A 1973 graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Architecture & Fine Arts began her design career as a space planner and interior designer for the Internal Revenue Service in Jacksonville, Florida, where she was responsible for office planning and facilities assessment for the IRS posts-of-duty throughout the State. Georgia followed her dream of living in a place with deciduous trees, and relocated to Portland in 1974. As Principal at C&E, Georgia is involved in all phases of interior design work, and provides a particular extensive expertise in the design of health care environments. Her health care experience extends from work with individual physician practices to community clinics and large-scale medical facilities. Georgia has been responsible for long-term relationships with Oregon Health & Science University, Adventist Medical Center and Southwest Washington Medical Center which have extended more than a decade. Higher education and hospitality projects have included renovations of both the Erb Memorial Student Union at the University of Oregon, and the Memorial Union at Oregon State University. As a dedicated painter outside the office, Georgia has nurtured her love of art further as a Board member of the PNCA/Museum of Contemporary Craft. Georgia is an NCIDQ-certified professional.
