Kerry Sorci grew up in a designing family; her mother is an interior designer and her father a landscape architect. Kerry tried to break away from the family tradition, graduating from the School of Cinema, Department of Drama at the University of South California with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 1994. While her love of theater has been nourished outside our workplace – for sixteen years she was founder and artistic director for Fuse Theater Ensemble and Integrity Productions – she has taken her production skills from theater and combined that with her design upbringing to focus on commercial interiors. Kerry has played a key role in planning, design and project management for institutional, educational and mixed-use multi-family housing projects since joining C&E in 1994. Among the many clients Kerry has worked with at C&E, she has been a primary C&E representative for Bonneville Power Administration, for whom she has designed and managed projects ranging from the establishment of their 600+ person Van Mall campus to highly technical training and support spaces throughout the Pacific Northwest. Kerry is great at juggling many responsibilities at one time, and the arrival of her daughter Emersyn in 2010 is helping her continue to hone those management skills!
